Encouragement in the Psalms

Hi, everybody!
It sure has been a while since I've posted something on here, but I'm back to write this.
This past year I have been highly involved in theatre and choir, it's been a blessing to get to know other people and have the opportunity to perform with them. Right now, I am beginning rehearsals for The Who's Tommy, my part is Tommy's biggest fan, Sally Simpson. And already I enjoy laughing with the cast and crew.

This blog session will be focusing on encouragement, hopefully this will help you if your strength is draining. Here they are:

I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8

God is our refuge and out strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
Psalm 46:1-3

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.
Psalm 55:22

You are my refuge and my shield: I have put my hope in your word. Away from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commands of my God! Psalm 118:14-16

           Until next time!

Psalm 46:1-3

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,  though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

Psalm 118:14-16

The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.  Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: "The LORD's right hand has done mighty things!  The LORD's right hand is lifted high; the LORD's right hand has done mighty things!"

Psalm 120:1

I call on the LORD in my distress, and he answers me

Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

East to West

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=WyoVJfADlwo

This is a link to a Casting Crowns song called East to West.
I love this song and I cried the first time I heard this, it's just so touching, how they sing this,
I love the band!

The reason for this blog

This is a way for you to know Christ!
I'm a Christian teenager, and I'd like to show the world who God is, how he thinks of us, and
not to be afraid!
I want to show the world, that God sent His ONLY SON to die for us, and to take our sins away with him!
Thank Christ that He loves you!

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish,
but have Eternal Life!
